Dubai International Superyacht Summit 2021
P&O MARINAS and FABULOUS YACHTS again thank all participants of previous editions of the Dubai International Superyacht Summit.

There have been positive regional developments for us to share and discuss in the 2021 edition. A yachting destination cannot be a single port or marina. It is necessary to build a yachting ‘ecosystem’ of marinas, cities and regions, able to offer a varying range of activities. This, enhanced by a collaborative strategy, will develop the region into a satisfying cruise haven.

To acknowledge the wider scope of this summit, the name has been changed to The International Superyacht Summit.

We look forward to welcoming you to Dubai in 2021.

About

The International Superyacht Summit 2021

Under the patronage of P&O Marinas and initiated and co-organised by Fabulous Yachts, the focus of The International Superyacht Summit has, up to now, been the development of the UAE as a preferred winter destination for superyachts on the migratory trail. This year we look further afield and encourage the industry to take a collaboratory approach throughout the region.

The 2021 edition of The International Superyacht Summit will introduce two new themes; the first new theme is how superyacht marina developments empower lifestyle and tourism and the role of the upscale yachting industry in new and consolidated tourist destinations.

The second new theme is the emerging trends in superyacht ownership and how builders can accommodate the needs of an ever-younger generation of owners and charterers. Central to this trend is also the growing environmental awareness of these younger generations and the higher intolerance of unsustainable practices.

The International Superyacht Summit Forum

To make the summit an ongoing event throughout the year, we have launched a forum to be found on the summit's website. Please express your opinions and give your advice on superyacht industry matters! Good ideas and constructive advice will go a long way to help the development of a superyacht friendly environment in the UAE and further afield.

Martin Redmayne - MODERATOR
MODERATOR

Martin Redmayne

CHAIRMAN & EDITOR IN CHIEF - The Superyacht Group

After some time spent on board as crew and following an in-depth look at the emerging superyacht market in 1992, a rash decision was made to create a relevant and strategic media business, The Superyacht Group and develop a brand-new magazine that would stand alone as the only serious business journal focusing on the key decision makers in the large yacht market. This flagship magazine The Superyacht Report and its sister digital platform SuperyachtNews.com have now established themselves as the authority in the market, with accurate, intelligent and informed reporting on all aspects of the superyacht world. With an absolute and obsessive passion for Superyachts and a unique insight into the industry, Martin is a recognised and trusted expert on a wide range of strategic topics. He has spent time on over 1,000 yachts around the globe, interviewed hundreds of owners and designers, and gained a rare insight into the market, that allows him to act as a consultant to investors, owners and major businesses in the industry. He loves sailing, fishing and spending as much time as possible with his family on a beach, somewhere in the world.
